Music Boosters
Members of the Carl Sandburg High School Music Boosters are dedicated to supporting the students enrolled in the music program at Carl Sandburg High School by promoting interest in the Music Program throughout the school and community. Our goal is to provide the music students with assistance that is not provided by the school. We are dedicated to achieve this goal by deed and monetary assistance.
Teamwork is essential for the success of the Music Program. Consider donating your precious gift
of time to the music children! We need every parent to help out in someway.
Summer at a Glance:
Starting June 23rd through July 23rd ~ Summer Marching Band Drumline: Tuesday & Thursday evenings ~ 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
June 16, 18, 23, 25, 30, July 2, 14, 16, 21, 23 ~ Summer Colorguard:
Practice 9:00 a.m.- noon
July 27 through August 7th ~ Summer Marching Band Camp
(Monday - Friday) July 27th through July 31st and
(Monday - Friday) August 3rd through August 6th:
3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. Sectionals *
5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Full Band
(Friday band camp schedule will run from 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
No sectionals on Fridays.)
* Sectional schedule for Band Camp: Mondays - trumpet and mellophone (French Horn); Tuesdays - Low-Brass and Percussion; Wednesdays - Flute and Saxophone; Thursdays - Clarinets and Percussion.

Music Boosters would like to thank Victoria Esposito for the generous donation to our organization in memory of her daughter, Gianna. Sadly, Gianna passed away in October 2008 from a mysterious acute liver failure.
Gianna was a member of the Sandburg band from 2004-2007 and was attending Columbia College in Chicago. Her love and passion for music has prompted her family to make a donation to our organization in her memory with the hope to help the current students of the Sandburg Music Family in their musical endeavors.
Thank You Victoria, from the bottom of our hearts!

Music Boosters present “Grandioso-Licious!” Cookbook Fundraiser
A noteworthy cookbook with favorite recipes from Booster families, Staff and Administration of C.S.H.S is now available for $15.00. Please print and complete the Cookbook Order Form and send it along with your payment. Please refer to the Order form for additional information.
DVD Order Form
If you would like to order a DVD of the concert performances, please print and
complete the new Music Booster's DVD Order Form.
DVD’s are $15.00 each. If you would like to have the
DVD mailed to Student or Parent - please add $2.00 to your order Total. Be sure to identify the Date of the Concert on the form and check the appropriate boxes. Please make checks
payable to "Carl Sandburg Music Boosters" with the student's name in the memo section. Place the completed form, along with a check, in the Music Booster's Mailbox.
